The 12:15 Ocean Magic Wildlife Adventure was awesome. Our Skipper David took us deep out into the Strait of Juan De Fuca, southwest of Race Rocks. Here he set up us to view two Transient Killer Whales. This was T20 and T21, a Male and a Female Orca, travelling along, working their way northwest. We observed these magical whales as they rose up for air on the sparking ocean surface. Mika our First Mate and Marine Biologist then spotted a blow from a Humpback Whale not far away. We made our way on over to them and found there were 3 Humpback Whales. These gentle giants were grouped tight together, blowing high in the air as the exhaled, and showing tail a few times as they dove down into the depths. Mika and our naturalists Jen and Lindsay answered all our guests questions and passed along a wealth of information on this amazing marine ecosystem. Our adventure then took us through Race Rocks Ecological Reserve. Here we observed Steller Sea Lions, Harbour Seals and Elephant Seals. This was a truly amazing adventure, an abundance of marine wildlife and awesome scenery, our passengers were all smiles back at the dock!

It was another beautiful day in Victoria, sun and blue skies. The Ocean Magic slipped from its berth in Victoria’s inner harbour. Our Skipper David took us out in the Strait of Juan De Fuca in search of wildlife. Our crew of Marine Biologist Mika and Naturalist Jen, filled our passengers with information on this amazing marine habitat. We caught up with J Pod off San Juan Island. These Resident Orca were milling around, spy hops, inverted on the surface and tail slaps. Truly a magical visit with these fish eating Killer Whales. Yet another awesome adventure with Prince Of Whales!
