I and our group of four (wife, son and girlfriend) really enjoyed our time with you on the Zodiac. It was the most fun I have had in years. The Transient pod killing something was awesome. The close encounters we got were unbelievable! My video and pictures from our camera turned out OK considering my lack of proper equipment and “sea legs”. Thanks again for the great adventure of seeing the whales of J Pod on Sunday. It was a great end to an 11 day trip that started when 10 of us left Lufkin, Texas on July 26th for Juneau, Alaska, then to Ketchican, and then to your beautiful Victoria. All of the sight were magnificent, but seeing the whales as close as we were and having “Granny” stick her head up to get a look ( I got a picture of her, but my zoom is not that great!!) will be a lifetime memory. I wanted to say how incredible an experience I had. It was my very first time seeing whales in a setting other than the big screen.
We saw a humpback whale and as I’m sure you know, a whole variety of Orca and Seals. All the staff were amazing, Brad especially was very kind and incredibly informative. I had not expected to learn as much as I did. I hope to do it again soon! Kathleen Hay
