The Prince of Whales tours offer an opportunity to see the beauty of the Vancouver shoreline on an eco-adventure - one thing you should not miss in the city!
You'll climb aboard one of our zodiacs style rockets and get that famous view of Vancouver from the water and so much more, we'll take you to some sights visitors seldom see.
The tours depart from Coal Harbour and cruise past Vancouver's new Convention Centre and Cruise Ship docks, then travel east under the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge to Indian Arm or west under the Lions Gate Bridge to English Bay and Howe Sound.
Indian Arm is a large sparsely populated area only accessible by boat or floatplane. There we will see Deep Cove and Raccoon Islands, two beautiful waterfalls, Silver and Granite Falls and the quaint Crocker Island. You will likely see some of BC's abundant wildlife such as Harbour Seals, Sea Lions and Eagles. Bears are in the area often enough to make their sighting a very real possibility and if you're real lucky, you might even spot a cougar.
West you will zip past the sandy beaches of English Bay and along the pristine Stanley Park to explore the stunning coastline and the incredible homes that perch on the edges. Point Atkinson Lighthouse Park, considered by many to have an almost spiritual aura is included in the tour as are Bowen and Gambier Islands.
This tour is approximately 2 hours. You'll find Prince of Whales offices in the lobby of the Westin Bayshore Vancouver at 1601 Bayshore Drive.
